Promo, interview and recruitment video
The university lists hundreds of Registered Student Organizations. Whether yours is a chapter, a club or the group behind a campus event, here's what I can film for you. I shoot both photo and video, so one booking can cover both.
What can a campus group hire you to film?
Promo videos, event recaps, talking-head interviews, drone aerials and recruitment films. For chapters, that means Greek Day, Philanthropy and Sisterhood films, house event reels, and date party and formal films. For a student organization or a campus event, I can film a short recap of the night, or a 30 to 60 second promo with up to two hours of filming at one location, delivered in 4K with one round of changes. What have you filmed at Ole Miss?
For Ole Miss chapters, I've filmed Chi Omega's three 2026 recruitment films and a philanthropy film for Tri Delta, and I photograph and film date parties for chapters around Oxford. Can you film interviews or a talking-head shoot?
Yes. A chapter that edits its own film can book me for a single-camera, two-hour talking-head shoot and get the color-graded clips, with no b-roll. My full recruitment film packages add b-roll, a content meeting, an editing meeting and five revisions. For any other group, an interview shoot gets a custom quote.
For a bigger promo, my commercial video runs from a 30 second promo up to a 2 minute brand film, like the Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry film with drone aerials. I started filming in 2019, and on SEC Network live broadcasts I work as a technical director and replay operator.

Campus event video, photos and the drone
Can you film our campus event?
Yes. I film recap videos myself, and you can book one together with SLP Media event photos. For a house event, I film for two hours and send the chapter a 20 to 30 second Instagram reel within one week. Date party and formal films are one package: four hours of filming with the drone, weather permitting, cut into a color-graded 30 to 60 second highlight reel with custom music, and you get the aerial footage too. Any other campus event gets its own quote.
Can SLP Media photograph our campus event too?
Yes. SLP Media, my event photography team, photographs campus events like banquets, receptions and homecoming events, plus chapter events from bid day to parents weekend. The team is sized by guest count in the SLP Media packages: one photographer for up to 100 guests, two for up to 500 at one venue, and four with a lighting package for bigger events. Guests find their photos with one selfie in the SelfSearch AI gallery, with no app and no account, and we plan delivery within 2 days of the event (3 days for Monday to Thursday events).
Parents weekend works the same way: SLP Media photographs the families while I film the night, all in one booking. The team photographed Kappa Kappa Gamma's parents weekend in October 2026. SLP Media also photographs tailgates in the Grove and game day gatherings for families, alumni groups and businesses, plus graduation weekend parties and events.
Can you fly a drone on the Ole Miss campus?
Every flight on Ole Miss property goes through UPD for approval, and I'm authorized to fly on campus and file the request myself, so tell me at least a week ahead. The university's form says anything involving Athletics also needs Athletics' own approval. On a home football game day no drone can fly within 3 nautical miles of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium from an hour before the game until an hour after. I'm an FAA Part 107 pilot, and I fly only where the airspace and the venue allow it, never over the crowd. The full rules are on my Ole Miss drone rules page.
Booking an Ole Miss videographer
When should a campus group book video?
It depends on the project. Chapters plan recruitment films in the fall because filming happens in the spring, in time for August, and I'm taking spring 2027 dates now. If you want drone footage on campus, tell me at least a week ahead so the UPD request can go in.
How much does a campus video cost?
Chapter films are on my Greek life video pricing, and promo videos are on my commercial video pricing. Event photos are SLP Media packages by guest count. For recruitment films I offer a free planning meeting, and you leave with a rough plan and a full cost estimate. Anything not listed gets a custom quote.
